Jason West has been an integral part of Katy Spring since its inception in 1999. As a third-generation spring maker, Jason's journey began on the shop floor, but over the years, he has worn many hats, from his early days as a production manager to his current role as General Manager, Jason's ascent within the company reflects his commitment and expertise in the field. In addition to his professional pursuits, Jason finds joy in spending quality time with his wife and two children, often embarking on adventures to beach destinations.

Scott Pitney, co-founder of Katy Spring in 1999, boasts extensive experience in the spring industry. A graduate of the University of Houston and Mississippi State, Scott has honed his skills through academic excellence and real-world experience. Beyond his professional pursuits, Scott's has attained a remarkable 5th-degree black belt, a testament to his discipline and determination. Driven by a philosophy centered on happiness and health, Scott continually strives to cultivate a fulfilling life both personally and professionally.

Yvette Sanchez is a seasoned account manager who joined Katy Spring in 2017, her dedication and proficiency in account management have proven to be invaluable. Beyond the office, she finds joy in her passions for dogs and jeeps! With a love for the outdoors and four-legged companions, Yvette brings a vibrant energy to both her professional and personal pursuits.

Liz Hernandez joined Katy Spring in 2021 and quickly became an integral part of the team. With nearly three years of experience under her belt, she has proven to be a valuable asset in her role as an account manager. Outside of work, Liz has several interests, including gardening ,books, and drawing. Liz embodies a balanced approach to life.

Mike joined Katy Spring in 2024 as a dedicated Business Development Specialist with a strong background in fostering growth and creating strategic partnerships. A proud graduate of Purdue University, Mike brings exceptional communication skills, organization, and a relentless work ethic to every project. Known for a meticulous approach to relationship building and market development, Mike has a proven history of helping businesses expand and reach new levels of success. Outside of work, Mike is an avid bowler and enjoys spending quality time with family in Mexico. This balance of professional dedication and personal passion makes Mike a valued team member, driven by both personal and professional growth.

Matt Metcalf joined Katy Spring in 2006 as a spring maker, over the years, he has evolved into a seasoned professional, showcasing his dedication and adaptability in various roles. Currently serving as the lead estimator. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he enjoys bonding with his daughters over softball and has a passion for the outdoors through hunting and fishing.

Ryan Thorpe, with a tenure since 2014 at Katy Spring has ascended from the Quality Assurance department to Operations Manager. Outside of work, he prioritizes family time and indulges in his passion for sports. Furthermore, Ryan is deeply involved in community service, dedicating his time to volunteering with organizations such as the Boy Scouts and Children of the American Revolution.

Since 2006, Laura Gann has been an essential part of Katy Spring, bringing with her a wealth of experience in accounting spanning more than 25 years, followed by over 7 years in human resources. Off-duty, Laura treasures moments with her husband, two daughters, and adores her new grandson. In addition, she likes to unwind with a good book and enjoys a glass of wine with friends.
