Extension springs are widely used in automobiles, motorcycles, toys, amusement parks, athletic equipment,s and other commercial applications.  Extension spring materials for commercial applications are typically high carbon steel and stainless steel. Commercial extension Springs can be produced by cost-effective CNC spring machines, according to customer's specifications. Commercial extension spring treatment can include; powder coating, nickel plating, chrome plating, black oxide, passivation, rust-preventative oil, and zinc plating, which are usually clear or yellow.  Extension spring wire diameters can be anywhere from .005€ up to .625€ in cold wound. Commercial extension springs are typically attached with closed eyes or open hooks
