Katy Spring is Increasing Capacity

In response to the rapidly changing market demand, Katy Spring is pleased to announce our newest equipment purchases that will increase production capacity for several areas of custom spring and wire form production. Our new SHA-5120, CNC coiling machine will coil and form up to .472” wire size. This addition will enhance Katy Spring’s large wire capacity. Katy Spring currently coils and forms up to .625” wire size in all types of spring materials. To support the expanded coiling capacity, Katy Spring has also purchased G-660 and G-450, 26” and 18” inch down-feed grinders as well as 8” and 14” grinders for compression springs requiring high-quality, precision-ground, flat ends. All machines are expected to be online and operational by Q3, 2022. In addition to the equipment purchases, Katy Spring is still hiring and training production staff for both 1st and 2nd shift positions.
