Our powder coat line is hard at work powder coating this torsion spring, used in the transportation industry.
These types of springs have many applications, including truck tarps, trailer ramps, truck ramps, dock loading levelers and much more.
This torsion spring is made from .625” oil tempered wire which is the largest wire size within Katy Spring’s capabilities.
The spring has a “shiny” appearance due to being shot-peened, which reduces stress and fatigue, thus increasing spring cycle life.
Our powder coat line can easily be converted to a paint line. We also have striping and dipping capabilities for other part identification and cosmetic requirements.
